First Look At “A Journal For Jordan” Trailer, Starring Michael B. Jordan
Are y’all ready for another movie with Michael B. Jordan? The Creed actor is starring in a new film entitled, A Journal For Jordan.
Michael B. Jordan Is Set To Take On The Role Of Superman In The Upcoming Film
The film is based on the memoir “A Journal for Jordan: A Story of Love and Honor” by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dana Canedy.
It follows the real-life story of First Sergeant Charles Monroe King, who writes letters to his newborn son while he’s overseas.
King was killed in Iraq in 2006, when his son was only seven months old.
His wife Canedy, played by Chanté Adams, kept all the letters in a book for their son. The journal of love was filled with advice and life lessons.
Adams is known for her role in the 2017 film Roxanne Roxanne.
The romantic drama is directed by Denzel Washington.
The Academy Award-winning actor is no stranger when it comes to working behind the scenes. He directed the box office hit Fences back in 2016, which he also starred in.
Now Washington is back in the director’s chair for this 2021 film!

Based on a true story, its follow Sgt. Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. But the horrors of war take their toll. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child.
A Journal For Jordan is set to be released in theaters on December 10, 2021.
