Eric Holder, Jr. Found Guilty Of Murdering Nipsey Hussle

The verdict is in! A Los Angeles jury found Eric Ronald Holder, Jr. guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of rapper and businessman Nipsey Hussle.

Nipsey, born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was fatally shot on March 31, 2019 in the parking lot of his Marathon Clothing store in South L.A. He was 33-years old.

Holder admitted to shooting Nipsey but attorneys tried to argue that he acted in a “heat of passion.”
Prosecutors argued that Holder’s actions were methodically carried out. In fact, the shooting was done 10 minutes after he had a conversation with Nipsey and shook his hand.

Although justice has come for Nipsey’s family, friends, and fans, the question “why” has still gone unanswered.

Holder is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
