Cookie is coming back!

The Empire queen, played by actress Taraji P. Henson, will be featured in a new Fox series spinoff.

Taraji is developing the series to be around her iconic character Loretha “Cookie” Lyon, as part of a two-year first-look deal she has signed with the show’s producer 20th Century Fox Television.

There aren’t many details regarding the new show; however, it will outline what’s next for Cookie Lyon. A pilot has been ordered and Taraji will produce the show.

Empire ended after six seasons but brought three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe for Taraji.

This should be good. Looking forward to the spinoff.
