Daejhanae Jackson Reportedly Arrested in the Case of Shanquella Robinson

Justice is happening for Shanquella Robinson.

According to YouTuber Chronicle Speaks, who has been keeping close contact with a reporter in Mexico, Jackson was arrested in the U.S. and is waiting to be extradited to Mexico.

Interpol agents arrested Jackson on the night of Nov. 28 in response to a Control Judge issuing an arrest warrant against her for the crime of femicide.

It’s unclear if Jackson turned herself in or if the authorities tracked her down.

Robinson’s life was taken on Oct. 29 during what was supposed to be a friends trip in Cabo. Since then, leaked videos circulating the internet show a defenseless Robinson being attacked by Jackson less than 24 hours before she was pronounced dead.

Her mother Salamondra Robinson told NBC News early on in the investigation that she had no doubt there would be justice for her daughter.

“I never thought she wouldn’t get justice because we were going to try to go all the way.”

She then expressed gratitude for the everyone who put light on this case. “But I appreciate everything that everybody’s done. However, you’ve played a part in it.”
