Coco Austin recently made a bold statement which caused a debate across social media. The TV personality and wife of actor Ice-T shared with US Weekly that she still breastfeeds her 5-year old daughter Chanel.

“Chanel still likes my boobs,” the 42-year old model revealed while sharing her parenting do’s and don’ts. “It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child.”

Coco explained that while her little one does “eat steak and hamburgers,” Chanel “likes a little snack every now and then.”

She added, “Why take that away from her? … If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it. But I’m not just going to say no.”

Back in March 2020, Coco thanked all her fans on Instagram, who supported her in her decision to continue breastfeeding.

Along with breastmilk, steak and hamburgers, Coco shared that her daughter also loves horror films. “She knows when there’s something that she can’t see. And she, like, turns her head and closes her eyes. She’s really good with that.”

The former reality star and Ice-T also let their daughter dictate where she sleeps and allow her to spend nights in their bed. “We call it the family bed,” Coco tells US Weekly. “We have Chanel and all four dogs.”

It looks like Chanel is running things in the home.
