As you all know, California does not play when it comes to the fur babies so it’s no surprise that 54-year old Deborah Sue Culwell gets arrested after throwing seven 3-day old puppies in a dumpster.

According to TMZ, the Coachellea resident was ID’d by the Riverside County Animal Services and she’s facing 7 felony counts of animal cruelty. The criminal act was caught on camera.

The puppies nearly died but a Good Samaritan that was searching through the trash bin discovered the puppies and saved their lives. The puppies were taken to an Orange County shelter where they recovered.

If convicted on all counts, Deborah Sue faces up to 6 years behind bars.
