Cedric The Entertainer reveals that there may be a Kings of Comedy reunion tour in the works.

In a new interview with Variety and iHeart’s podcast The Big Ticket, Cedric says that talks of him, D.L. Hughley, and Steve Harvey getting back together is seriously being considered, now that Steve is eyeing a return to the stage.

The Original Kings Of Comedy with the three comedians along with the late Bernie Mac — who passed away August 9, 2008 from complications of pneumonia — changed the landscape of comedy and their careers.

The event which was directed by Spike Lee, was a box office success and went to higher heights when it was later released on DVD.

Cedric also shared that they would honor Bernie and not replace him if the tour happens.

The interview occurred before the nationwide social distancing order was announced, but we’ll be looking forward to this reunion tour in the near future.
