Arrest Is Made In The Death Of Teenage N.C. Girl.

Yes! It looks like there will finally be justice for a murdered teenage girl from North Carolina (our home state). 13 year old Hania Aguilar was kidnapped three weeks ago from her home while warming up the family car and waiting for a ride to school.

The suspect in this case, Michael Ray McLellan, forcibly drove the girl away, raped the child, and tossed her in the woods. McLellan allegedly confessed to the horrendous act after being question for ANOTHER kidnapping.

Here’s more from the North Carolina Beat.

The North Carolina Beat

“According to sources, 34-year-old Michael Ray McLellan is the man responsible for the kidnapping of 13-year-old Hania Aguilar earlier this month.

Aguilar, who was getting ready to leave for school, was waiting on her family outside of their home in the Rosewood Mobile Home Park when she was forced into the family’s SUV shortly before 7 a.m.

A few days after she went missing, a witness came forward and told the FBI that they “saw a male subject dressed in all black and wearing a yellow bandanna force Hania into a relative’s vehicle that was parked in the driveway.”

Michael Ray McLellan, who has been in the custody of Robeson County Sheriff’s Office since November 13, was previously accused of kidnapping a woman outside of her home off Pittman Street, in Fairmont community, in Robeson County, according to the Fairmont Police Chief, Jon Edwards.

At the time of the unrelated incident, McLellan approached the woman wearing dark clothing with a mask on his face.

Sources tell The North Carolina Beat, that, while McLellan was in custody on the unrelated charge, he was interviewed by law enforcement officers and admitted to kidnapping, raping, and dumping Aguilar’s body near a pond on Wiregrass Road where he lived.

McLellan alleged confession is what sources say led police to the area around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, and upon their arrival, a body, believed to be that of 13-year-old Hania Aguilar, was discovered.

The North Carolina Beat spoke with McLellan’s mother, Carrie McLellan Tuesday night who confirmed that Michael lived with his father on Wiregrass Road in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Carrie said Michael was taken from her and given to his father when he was only 13-years-old and ever since, lived on Wiregrass Road.

Officials at Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said, McLellan, is in their custody under a $2 million bond on the charges of second-degree kidnapping and attempted armed robbery.

Detention officers at Robeson County Jail were told that they were not allowed to release information about McLellan charges or his connections to 13-year-old Hania Aguilar.

Officials have yet to release the identity of the body found Tuesday evening or a suspect in the case.”

Now we should say that nothing is definite, and Michael McLellan’s confession hasn’t been officially released by officials.

But the way things are looking, Mr. McLellan is a prime suspect. If this young man is the criminal, then he needs to be locked up UNDER the jail. If Michael continues to live among the public, he’s just gonna keep kidnapping, killing, and raping.

Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to the Aguilar family. And may baby girl Hania rest in eternal peace.

  1. This is horrible!! You’re right about not even having a trail. But according to the law, everyone is innocent till proven guilty. I don’t believe in taking a life but I hope her spirit haunts him for the rest of his life.

  2. This is false I formation. There has been NO confession or arrest made in Hanias case according to the FBI and law enforcement. Please take this article down so the real killer can be apprehended. People will quit reporting tips if they see articles like this. Our community and Hanias family deserve justice. #justiceforHania

  3. Great job by law enforcement. Now hopefully the death penalty for this scum of the earth. One less human parasite for women to worry about.

  5. As you can see this information was true in fact valid! people were saying that it’s false Information and it wasn’t. I knew from reading this article in the beginning that there was some accuracy. You can tell when things are legitimate and when they aren’t. The law enforcement can release suspects name to the public without factual evidence or the charges will be dropped against him .
