A&E Announces New Bobby Brown Bio TV Special and Docuseries

Another Bobby Brown docuseries is coming to television, and A&E network will be premiering it.


Biography: Bobby Brown will be a 2-night event that will follow the ups and downs of Bobby’s life and career.


A&E states that the special takes a personal look at the award-winning R&B artist’s journey to superstardom and the fallout from his personal struggles with sobriety. 


Biography: Bobby Brown will also cover the tragic deaths of two of his children– Bobbi Kristina Brown and Bobby Brown Jr., as well as his first wife, Whitney Houston.


The documentary includes interviews with musical artists UsherJermaine DupriKeith SweatBabyface, New Edition’s Ricky BellMichael BivinsRonnie DeVoe, and Johnny Gill as well as family and friends. 

The TV special will be coupled with a 12-episode docuseries, entitled Bobby Brown: Every Little Step. The docuseries moves into the present day for an exclusive look at Bobby’s life with wife Alicia Etheridge-Brown and their children. It will also focus on Bobby’s new business ventures, nee music, and the 2022 reunion with New Edition on The Culture Tour.

Biography: Bobby Brown premieres on May 30 and May 31 at 8 p.m., and Bobby Brown: Every Little Step starts airing weekly episodes Tuesdays at 9 p.m, following the special.
