The 14th Annual Taste Of Soul Family Festival in Los Angeles
Los Angeles will be having their 14th annual Taste of Soul family festival this weekend, October 19th.
Everyone come out for the chance to enjoy great music, food, and entertainment (listed below) throughout the entire day. Admission to the event is FREE!
“The festival was dubbed by Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti, as the largest one-day ‘free’ street festival and event in all of L.A. City & County, with over 350,000 attendees”, according to the Taste of Soul website.
This years celebrity chair consist of Erica and Warryn Campbell from We Are The Campbells and Entertainer, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist, Sheryl Underwood.
The event will be located on Crenshaw Blvd. between Stocker St. and Obama Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA.
This is an all day event, starting at 10:00am and ending at 7:00pm.
This event will have four stages with some of your favorite singers and entertainers. Check out the line up below!
Hyundai Sound Stage
Doug E. Fresh, Experience Unlimited ft. Sugar Bear, Fresh & Mal-Ski, Dru Hill, Keri Hilson, and Johnny Gill as the headliner.
94.7 The Wave Stage
S.O.S. Band, Klymaxx, Evelyn Champagne King, Chosen Recovery, Cultural Soul, Tony Grant, Tay Walker
Brenda Marsh-Mitchell Gospel Stage
My Block Inc. roster headline the Taste of Soul Brenda Marsh-Mitchell Gospel Stage which includes JoiStaRR, Jason McGee and The Choir, Lena Byrd Miles and The Walls Group.
The Gospel Stage will also welcome regional vocalists and choirs recruited by Pastor Kelvin Sauls of Sauls Enterprises and Ricardo Mowatt of Mowatt Entertainment. Also performing: local quartet group, the Zion Messengers, Shari Demby, Pastor Desmond Pringle, Angela Polk, Holman Jubilant Voices, and the Los Angeles Inner City Mass Choir according to the Taste of Soul website.
KJLH Planet Fitness Stage
This stage will have a mixture of both R&B and Gospel performers which includes, Tye Tribbett, Anthony Brown, Fred Hammond, Charles Jenkins, 702, Jon B, Snoh Aalegra, and many more.
