Comedian Druski is taking one of his most talked-about comedy characters to the small screen, teaming up with veteran comedian and actor Mike Epps for a new Netflix series titled “Collect & Praise.”
The upcoming semi-scripted comedy series will feature Druski as a flashy, money-hungry megachurch pastor, with Epps portraying his unpredictable deacon. Together, the unlikely duo will navigate a world of scandals, chaos and controversy as they lead their fictional congregation.
The series is inspired by Druski’s viral megachurch pastor character, which first gained widespread attention through an internet comedy sketch earlier this year. The character also made an appearance at the BET Awards, further introducing audiences to Druski’s hilarious take on the world of megachurch culture and over-the-top religious personalities.
“Collect & Praise” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix December 1, 2026.
The series marks the first major project under a newly announced multi-year partnership between Netflix and Druski’s production company, 4LIFERS Entertainment. Through the agreement, Druski will develop and produce original programming exclusively for the streaming platform.
Netflix will also license select projects from Druski’s existing catalog, including “Coulda Been Love,” “Coulda Been Daddy,” “Coulda Been Records Auditions” and several of his popular comedy sketches.
Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, has built an impressive entertainment career through his viral social media content, memorable characters and independently produced comedy projects. His partnership with Netflix represents another major milestone as he expands his creative reach beyond social media.
“I’ve built my platform by creating characters and comedy that resonate with people,” Druski said in a statement. He added that the partnership will give his team the resources to bring its comedy to a larger global audience and develop original programming.
Netflix executive John Derderian also praised the comedian’s ability to create memorable characters, describing “Collect & Praise” as just the beginning of the partnership.
With Druski’s unpredictable comedic style and Mike Epps’ longtime experience in comedy, “Collect & Praise” is already generating interest ahead of its highly anticipated debut.
“Collect & Praise” premieres December 1 on Netflix.
