We are thrilled to announce that #RobinGivens has landed a recurring role in Prime Video’s hit thriller Cross for its upcoming third season!
The veteran actress will portray Senator Mulrooney, an intellectual conservative whose polished public image masks a complicated private life. Described as overbearing as both a parent and partner, the senator is married to a doctor and fiercely protects the secret surrounding her troubled son.
Season 3 picks up after the explosive Season 2 finale, with Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) walking away from the Metropolitan Police Department after exposing a major human trafficking operation. Now working outside the system, Cross is determined to deliver justice on his own terms in what promises to be the series’ most intense season yet.
Robin shared her excitement on Instagram, writing:
“So excited to be working with such talented writers, cast and crew… SO FUN! And I’m especially grateful for my new ‘bestie’ @staciegreenwell… You are never getting rid of me.” 
Best known for her iconic role as Darlene Merriman on Head of the Class, Givens has also starred in Boomerang, Harlem, Batwoman, Riverdale, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and many more.
Cross Season 3 is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Prime Video in the first half of 2027.
