Three people were shot inside the Old Lady Gang restaurant owned by Grammy award-winning songwriter, singer, and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss, police say.
Kandi, with her husband Todd Tucker as co-owner, created this establishment while using her mother Joyce Jones and two aunts — Bertha Jones and Nora Wilcox — recipes as inspiration.
According to WGCL, a man entered the restaurant and shot another man inside, police say. Two bystanders were also shot. All three victims’ injuries were not life threatening, the station reported.
The Old Lady Gang restaurant is in a shopping area southwest of downtown Atlanta. It’s one of three locations owned by Kandi and Todd.
Police do not yet have a motive for the shooting, but believe it was an isolated incident. They are currently looking for the suspect.
