Rapper Blueface Criticized For Throwing Cash To The Homeless On Skid Row For Christmas

Blueface did an act of random kindness in downtown L.A; however, some say what he did is degrading.

The rapper went to Skid Row Monday where he jumped atop his SUV and thrown an untold number of bills into a crowd that caused a frenzy.

No doubt his generosity was appreciated by those present, but he’s getting some backlash on social media, with some calling it demeaning and dehumanizing — people down on their luck diving for dollar bills.

One person wrote, “He should just handed everyone the cash! That’s a lot less degrading! And you get a personal reaction from each person!”

Although we commend Blueface for having the heart to give, we do hope that this becomes a teachable moment for him — no matter the status, they are still people.

But it doesn’t look like anyone on Skid Row is complaining so…Merry Christmas everyone!
