Young Black Girl’s Body Found in a Duffel Bag Near A Los Angeles County Hiking Trail
On Tuesday morning around 10 AM, an unidentified young black girl was found dead in a roll-away black duffel bag near a Los Angeles hiking trail on Hacienda Boulevard. California authorities released a sketch of the girl, showing her in a pink, long-sleeved top adorned with the words “Future Princess Hero” and pants with a panda print. Authorities said she was black, about 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighed about 55 pounds.
There are no visible signs of trauma but an autopsy is being performed to discover the cause of death.
The department believe she was left on the trail Sunday evening and is hoping that maybe someone may have seen something suspicious during that time.
“At this point, we don’t have any leads. We don’t have any idea of who this child is,” Hoglund said, calling it a “horrible, tragic case.”
The authorities are asking the public for help to identify this sweet angel and to bring justice by finding the animal that took her life. If you have any information, please contact the LA County Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. If you would like to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
