Comatose Woman At A Phoenix Healthcare Facility Miraculously Gives Birth To Bouncing Baby Boy. And Now Authorities Want Answers.

Staff members have some “splaining” to do at a Arizona health facilty. The Hacienda is under investigation after one of their patients gave birth to a baby boy four days after Christmas. The mother, who had been at the facility in central Phoenix for more than a decade after a near-drowning,  is actually a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. This woman’s family wants answers and they want them now.

There have been some developments in the last couple days in this disturbing and weird case. Investigators are testing every male staff member at the facility AND the CEO has resigned. Something smells fishy in the state Arizona.  Here’s more from keloland.com.

“An attorney representing the family of a comatose woman who has been living at a private care facility in Phoenix says she gave birth to a boy.
    
The woman has been a resident of Hacienda HealthCare in central Phoenix for more than a decade after a near-drowning. The woman is a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.

Healthcare staff were initially unsure why the woman was moaning, the reports said. Sources quoted said the baby’s head was starting to emerge when a nurse came in.

“None of the staff were aware that she was pregnant until she was pretty much giving birth,”quoted a source familiar with the situation as saying. That person said the baby was said to be alive and healthy.

  
In a statement Tuesday, Phoenix attorney John Micheaels says the woman’s family is outraged and shocked by the abuse and neglect of their daughter.
    
Micheaels says the boy was born into a loving family and will be well cared for.
    
He says the family is aware of the intense public interest in the case but is not prepared emotionally to speak about it.
    
Tribal chairman Terry Rambler said he was “deeply shocked and horrified at the treatment of one of our members.”
    
San Carlos Apache Police Chief Alejandro Benally says Phoenix police “will do all they can to find the perpetrator.”
    
A spokesman for Hacienda HealthCare says investigators served a search warrant Tuesday to obtain DNA samples from all male staffers.

Phoenix police are pursuing DNA samples from every male employee at a private care facility where a patient in a vegetative state recently gave birth.

The CEO of a private health care facility in Phoenix has resigned following reports that a patient gave birth despite being in a vegetative state for more than a decade.

    
A spokesman for Hacienda HealthCare says Bill Timmons announced his resignation Monday and it was unanimously accepted by the facility’s board of directors.
    
Phoenix police say the matter is under investigation and decline further comment.
    
A Hacienda board member says the facility “will accept nothing less than a full accounting of this absolutely horrifying situation.””

Ok you guys. How could this happen? Apparently someone was creeping into this patient’s room when no one was looking. And its true that the male employees there had the opportunity to perform this act.

BUT! If family and friends were visiting the comatose woman also, then its hard to exclude either of them from the possible rape. We’ll report more on this disturbing case as info is made available to us.

  1. Ok…. How on earth did this happen? Stop lying staff cuz y’all know good n well if you’re careing for someone from day to day you would notice everything that doesn’t look right.
