Tamron Hall Lands Exclusive Interview With Former Florida Politician Andrew Gillum
Former Florida politician Andrew Gillum is ready to open up about the events that surrounded an alleged drug overdose, and he’s telling his truth on the Tamron Hall Show.
The interview with Tamron Hall will be Gillum’s first television appearance since the scandal that took place at a Miami hotel.
According to a spokesperson for the show, the married father of three “will discuss his swift fall from grace, his rehabilitation experience in the face of adversity, and share what life looks like now” during the hour-long interview.
Gillum was not charged with a crime and left the hotel after reportedly being checked by rescue workers.
Days after the incident, he announced he was “stepping down from all public facing roles” to “seek help, guidance and enter a rehabilitation facility.”
Gillum took to Instagram in July to discuss his battle with depression and alcoholism and to apologize to his supporters.
The episode will appear on the season two premiere of the “Tamron Hall” show Sept. 14.
