“Soul Food” Sisters Support Malinda Williams At Women’s Empowerment Event
Malinda Williams said “don’t call it a comeback” because her sisters have always been there to support her. The actress hosted a Women’s Empowerment Luncheon with Pauline Malcolm-Thornton on Sunday in West Hollywood and her Soul Food series co-stars attended the launch of her event.
Nicole Ari Parker and Vanessa Williams – who portrayed Malinda’s older sisters in the series — expressed how proud they were of their sis.
Vanessa also thanked Malinda for creating a space for women.
The Soul Food series ran for 4 seasons (2000-2004) and the cast still remains close.
These ladies are so beautiful and we just love how they continue to support each other.
Congratulations on a successful event, Malinda!
