Singer/Songwriter, Dionne Warwick, Stated On Twitter That She Wants Teyana Taylor To Play Her In A Series.

The legendary Dionne Warwick, who made the popular hits like “Walk On By” and “Don’t Make Me Over,” went on Twitter to discuss some personal requests in regards to a possible biopic of herself.

The 80 year-old songstress posted a video on Twitter about how she would only like one person to portray her in a hypothetical series.

That lucky person is actress-singer, Teyana Taylor.

People Reports:

This is a case for @netflix,” she captioned the video, where she asked if people would really watch a series about her life. “Please donโ€™t ask who I would cast to play me as it would obviously be @TEYANATAYLOR.”

“๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ,” wrote Taylor, 30, who recently announced she’s retiring from music.

Netflix’s Twitter account was quick to slide into Warwick’s replies, writing “taking โœ๏ธ notes โœ๏ธ..” The “I Say a Little Prayer” singer replied, “I’ll call ya!”

The new post from Warwick comes just a day after Warwickย shared a photo of Taylorย with the caption, “It runs in the family.” Taylor quote tweeted it, writing “Period. ๐ŸคŽ” (The two aren’t actually related.)

This also isn’t the first time Warwick has addressed the visual similarities between herself and Taylor.

Last January, after a fan tweeted , “Y’all ever noticed that Teyana Taylor looks like Dionne Warwick?”, Warwick retweeted it and tagged the “Gonna Love Me” songstress.

So how many people would like to see a new biopic about Dionne Warwick starring Teyana Taylor?

Hopefully both teams will get together with the help of Netflix production company.

It should be fun!

And now you are officially in the know!
