R&B singer Jeremih will no longer participate in the upcoming “Boys 4 Life” tour alongside Bow Wow and the R&B group B2K after revealing he is dealing with a serious medical condition.
According to a statement released by his team, the “Birthday Sex” singer announced that he will have to step away from the highly anticipated tour while doctors monitor his health. The announcement came shortly before the tour was set to begin.
In a statement, Jeremih’s manager said the singer is currently under medical supervision and focusing on recovery. “His condition continues to be closely monitored by his doctor,” the statement said, adding that Jeremih and his team appreciate the support from fans and partners during this time.
While the exact nature of the illness has not been publicly disclosed, Jeremih’s team emphasized that his health must come first.
The “Boys 4 Life” tour is expected to feature performances from Bow Wow and members of B2K — including Omarion, Lil’ Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B — as they bring early-2000s R&B and hip-hop nostalgia to fans across the country.
Jeremih had originally been listed among the artists appearing on the tour lineup. However, fans began to speculate about his absence after promotional materials shared on social media no longer included his name.
The Chicago-born singer rose to fame in 2009 with the hit single “Birthday Sex,” which helped launch a successful career in R&B. Over the years, he has released several popular songs and collaborations that have kept him a staple in the genre.
For now, Jeremih’s team says the focus remains on his recovery, and they are asking fans for patience and continued support as he works toward getting back to full health.
No word yet on whether he will rejoin the tour at a later date.
