Preachers of L.A. Star Pastor Wayne Chaney, Jr. and Wife Myesha End 17-Year Marriage

Pastor Wayne Chaney, Jr., co-star of Preachers of L.A., and head Pastor at Antioch Church in Long Beach, California, announced that he and his wife Myesha Chaney are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage. 
Pastor Chaney shared the heartbreaking news in an email statement sent to his congregation and friends.

“It is with both a heavy heart but tremendous clarity that I type the most difficult message I have ever had to compose. For the twenty-plus years, I’ve been entrusted to lead Antioch Church, I have tried to do so with wisdom, spiritual sensitivity, and integrity. For nearly 17 of those years, I have walked intimately in both life and leadership with my wife, Myesha, by my side.”

Pastor Chaney then added:

“Sadly, however, after nearly two decades together, Myesha and I mutually agree our time journeying together as husband and wife have come to a loving but necessary conclusion.”

The statement later explains that the couple just simply grew apart.

“It was not infidelity, abuse, or any gross immoral act that brought us to this point. Rather, we have simply evolved into expressly different people than we were in our early twenties when we eagerly clung to one another and set out to make a life for ourselves.”

Pastor Chaney revealed that the most difficult part of this separation is the heartache and transition their three children have to endure. They will continue to make Wayne III, Reign, and Cadence a top priority while they move on to the next chapter in their lives.
