Offset Facing A Felony Charge For Knocking A Cell Phone Out Of A Fan’s Hand
Rapper Offset is in a bit of trouble because a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
A week ago on Monday, the Migos rapper was at a Target in Sandy Springs, Georgia and he wasn’t in the best mood. A fan noticed him and pulled out his phone but Offset wasn’t up for any photo ops. The fan then proceeded to record him after he checked out and it all went downhill from there.
The fan, Junior Gibbons, said, “What up, Offset?” and that set Offset off. Offset said, “Get the f*** out of my face.” The video the guy shot shows Offset then smack the phone out of his hand. The instrument crashed to the ground and broke, shattering the screen.
Needless to say, Junior filed a police repost last Friday which prompt cops to investigate and issue a warrant.
Unfortunately for Offset, the crime is now considered a felony charge because the phone costs $800 — reaching the felony threshold, and cops say it was intentional.
What do y’all think? Do celebrities have a right to act in this manner if they don’t want to be bothered, or is Junior right to press charges? Leave a comment below.
