Nipsey Hussle‘s sister, Samantha Smith, showed love for her niece Emani Asghedom on her 11th birthday by posting a sweet message to her and vowing to always keep her close.
Before Nipsey’s passing, Emani was in the hip-hop artist’s custody.
After Nipsey’s murder, there was a custody battle for his daughter between Emani’s mother Tanisha Foster and Samantha.
Tanisha wanted Emani with her, but a judge signed off Nipsey’s immediate family to be her guardian. Tanisha had been deemed “unfit” to care for Emani; however, according to social media posts, Emani still maintains a good relationship with her biological mother.
It looks like Emani will be surrounding by a lot of love on her special day.
