Version 1:Rapper Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty were shopping at the store first. Meek Mill approached Nicki and Nicki seemed disturbed by it. They then became involved in a shouting match, and Kenneth stepped up to Meek Mill to defend his wife. Meek then told Kenneth to take it outside with his crew, and that’s when Ken called Meek a p***y, insinuating that Meek cannot handle anything without his boys to back him up. Nicki also called him a b***h.
Version 2:
According to a Meek Mill source, Meek was already in the store shopping when Nicki and Kenneth came in and approached him. Kenneth started getting loud and Meek suggested they have a word in private but they refused.
The source told TMZ that Meek wanted to keep things civil, because, as one source put it — “He’s just happy he’s in a much better place, personally and professionally, than he was back when he and Nicki were dating.”
Video footage of Meek in white being held back and escorted out of the store by both his own security team and guys working for the boutique. In the background, you clearly hear Nicki and Ken’s voices … they’re pretty distinctive.
