Mother And Daughter Arrested For Stealing Over $200 Worth Of Crab Legs
A mother and daughter have been arrested for allegedly stealing over $200 worth of crab legs from a grocery store in Memphis and assaulting the store manager in the process.
ABC 13 News reports:
Police told WREG the duo stuffed the food into a purse and when a store manager tried to stop them, police said they hit her in the face.
Felicia Hollins and Gabrielle Hodges, a mother and daughter duo, are charged with theft of property and assault.
They were arrested a short time later and police said they admitted to stealing the crab legs without paying for them.
Another manager told the news station that crab legs and oxtails are often the target of thefts from grocery stores.
Hollins and Hodges are charged with theft of property and assault. They’re set to face a judge Wednesday.
