Lucien George, Sr., Father Of Full Force, Passed Away At 82
Lucien George, Sr, the father of hip-hop and R&B group Full Force, has passed away Sunday from Parkinson’s disease. He was 82.
According to Full Force members — Paul Anthony, B-Fine (real name Brian George) and Bowlegged Lou –, their father was very instrumental in their lives and shaped their musical career. Lou even credited their dad as their architect and teacher of music.
Bowlegged Lou — real name Lucien George Jr. — shared a series of Instagram posts in honor of his dad.
Paul Anthony George also posted a message.
Full Force is mostly known for their roles in the film House Party, and their hit songs from the 80’s and 90’s, including “Ain’t My Type of Hype.”
The brothers were also responsible for producing memorable records for the group Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
Full Force is still on the music scene and can be followed on Instagram.
“Rest in peace to our father who transitioned today, April 5th 2020. The three of us and mom will always love you, dad,” said Lou. He then added, “We forever thank you and mom for raising us, teaching us, and loving us.”
