Leonid Radvinsky, Billionaire Owner of OnlyFans, Dies at 43

Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of the subscription-based platform OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 following a private battle with cancer, the company confirmed Monday.

In a statement, a spokesperson said the company was “deeply saddened” by his passing, adding that Radvinsky “passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer” and that his family has requested privacy during this time.

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur, became the majority owner of OnlyFans in 2018 after acquiring its parent company, Fenix International. He served as director and played a key role in transforming the platform into a global digital powerhouse.

Under his leadership, OnlyFans experienced explosive growth, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, as millions of creators turned to the platform to monetize content directly with subscribers. The site became one of the most influential platforms in the creator economy, reshaping how adult and independent content is distributed online.

Born in Odesa, Ukraine, and raised in Chicago, Radvinsky built his fortune through ventures in technology and online adult entertainment. Before OnlyFans, he founded the webcam platform MyFreeCams and later expanded into venture capital investments.

Despite his immense wealth—estimated in the billions—Radvinsky maintained a notably low public profile throughout his career. In recent years, he was also known for philanthropic efforts, including contributions to medical and humanitarian causes.

His death marks a significant moment for OnlyFans and the broader digital content industry, where his influence helped redefine how creators earn income online.

The company has not yet announced any immediate changes to leadership.
