Justice For Bre: 911 Call In Shooting Death Of Breonna Taylor Released
On March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old American emergency medical technician, was fatally shot eight times by Louisville Metro Police Department officers Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison and Myles Cosgrove. The unannounced officers entered her Louisville apartment while serving a “no-knock warrant.”
Breonna’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, who is a registered gun owner, allegedly discharged his firearm to defend the home. His lawyer stated that he was only acting in self-defense. Kenny was arrested but later all charges against him were dropped.
After officers shot Bre, Kenny called 911 for help.
