Joe Garcia, Husband Of Teacher Who Was Killed In Texas School Shooting, Dies From Heart Attack
The family of Irma Garcia, one of the teachers murdered in the Uvalde school shooting, is suffering another loss.
According to a post, Irma’s husband Joe Garcia had died of a heart attack.
Garcia’s nephew, John Martinez, posted, “EXTREMELY heartbreaking and come with deep sorrow to say that my Tia Irma’s husband Joe Garcia has passed away due to grief, I truly am at a loss for words for how we are all feeling, PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY, God have mercy on us, this isn’t easy.”
Irma lost her life trying to protect her students from a mass shooter at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. She is hailed a hero.
Irma and Joe were high school sweethearts and have been married for 24 years.
They had four children together.
