Jim Carrey Says ‘Brilliant Black Minds’ Gave Him A Shot In Hollywood, Credits “In Living Color”
A-List celebrity Jim Carrey has many blockbuster hits under his belt. Films such as: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas to name a few — all put the actor in a position to command $20 million a film.
Although Jim is making the big bucks, he still hasn’t forgotten his humble beginnings and credits his time on 90s hit show In Living Color and show creator Keenan Ivory Wayans.
Actor Marlon Wayans shared a post where Jim Carrey expressed his appreciation to the brilliant black minds that jumpstarted his career and Marlon co-signed the message.
Outside of acting, Jim Carrey is an accomplished painter and shares tons of his work on his Twitter page. He’s also very vocal about his distain for Donald Trump.
But Jim will hit the big screen again where he’ll play an archvillain in Sonic the Hedgehog, his first major studio movie in years.

There’s also talks of an Ace Ventura: Pet Detective 3 in the works.
It looks like Jim Carrey’s career is still kicking in high gear and its all thanks to brilliant black minds like Keenan Ivory Wayans who put this brilliant actor along with others on the map.
