J.R. Smith Responds After Wife Prays For Him And His Alleged Mistress On Instagram
The situation between J.R. Smith and his wife Shirley “Jewel” Harris-Smith is getting messier by the minute.
After Jewel posted a video on Instagram of her praying over the cheating allegations, J.R. is finally speaking out claiming that he and his wife have been separated for months.
There has been rumors floating around for a while now that the NBA star has been having an affair with actress Candice Patton. J.R. has been seen in photos with Candice at events — where in one photo, Candice’s friend captioned “best couple ever.”
J.R. even posted a video of him walking, who fans say was Candice’s dog, but the video was then quickly deleted.
During all of this speculation, J.R.’s wife Jewel shared that she received many messages about her husbands alleged affair and she decided to address this situation in prayer on Instagram –for the world to see.
Fast forward to Wednesday morning… J.R. finally broke his silence about the situation and seemed to be mocking Jewel’s video in the process.
J.R. went to social media to announce the state of his marriage.
She also posted a photo of them together in October, where it seems like she has high hopes of them working things out.
