Looks like baby Halo is officially off the ‘Gram—by court order! A Los Angeles judge has just told The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey and her rapper ex-boyfriend DDG to stop sharing their 19-month-old son on social media.
According to court documents, the judge ruled that neither parent can post photos or videos of baby Halo on any platform “until further notice.” The move comes after months of buzz and backlash online about the couple’s parenting choices—and fans’ obsession with getting a glimpse of their little one.
The parents have been embroiled in a custody battle since they split last October, and it got even more intense earlier this year.
In May, Halle obtained a restraining order against DDG, and she was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of Halo.
Now, DDG has an updated visitation schedule, and neither party is allowed to post the child on social media.
In addition, DDG has been permitted “peaceful contact” with Halle only to coordinate court-ordered visitation with Halo.
He has been allowed to visit their son in professionally monitored sessions every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and every other Sunday at the same time.
Back in June, DDG tried to get a restraining order on Halle and block her from traveling to Italy with their son, where she was set to film an upcoming new movie with Rege-Jean Page, but his motion was denied and she was allowed to travel.
Halle and DDG, who welcomed Halo late last year, initially kept their baby news under wraps. But when the proud parents finally introduced him to the world, social media exploded with opinions. From name reveals to adorable (but rare) snapshots, every post stirred major chatter, with some fans questioning whether the couple was oversharing.
Now, the judge is stepping in to protect Halo’s privacy—and honestly, it’s giving no more baby content for you!
So far, neither Halle nor DDG has commented on the order, but one thing’s for sure: fans are going to have to wait a while for those cute baby updates.
