Gospel Artist Le’Andria Johnson Celebrates 9 Months of Sobriety
Le’Andria Johnson is having a great month because she has two reasons to celebrate. The powerhouse Gospel singer currently has the #1 single on the Gospel Charts “Deliver Me” and she just announced she’s reached 9 months of sobriety.
Back in March 2019, a 2-episode show aired on OWN network’s Iyanla: Fix My Life with Le’Andria Johnson, where Iyanla helped her get to the root of her issues with alcoholism.
At the end, Iyanla made arrangements and rode with her to a rehab facility and it looks like Le’Andria and now she’s celebrating her deliverance.
Donald Lawrence wrote and produced “Deliver Me” with his friend Le’Andria and he was also instrumental in helping her find help for alcoholism.
Le’Andria hasn’t been shy about opening up about her longtime struggle with substance abuse and frequently appeared on social media, drinking, cursing and speaking against the church.
Now it looks like she’s turning her life around and embracing the grace and light that God has put upon her as she puts in the work.
Way to go, Le’Andria!
In celebration, let’s take a listen to Le’Andria Johnson, Donald Lawrence, and the Tri-City Singers performing the hit song “Deliver Me” on Sunday’s Best.
