It’s official — Bel-Air is coming to an end. Peacock has announced that the hit drama reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will conclude with its fourth and final season, premiering November 24.
And the show is going out with a bang. The streamer has lined up an impressive slate of guest stars for the final season, including Fresh Prince alum Janet Hubert, Power Book II: Ghost star Caroline Chikezie, and the return of Tyra Banks.
Hubert — best known as the original Aunt Viv from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air — will appear as “a wise woman whom Hilary (Coco Jones) meets, and who becomes instrumental to the Banks family,” according to Deadline. Her role marks a full-circle moment, bringing her back to the Bel-Air universe for the first time in over 30 years.
Fans will recall Hubert’s celebrated reconciliation with Will Smith during the 2020 Fresh Prince reunion special, following years of a well-publicized fallout after her exit from the original sitcom.
Chikezie, meanwhile, will portray Dominique Warren, “the leader of Geoffrey’s (Jimmy Akingbola) former London gang.” The actress, who stars as Noma on Power Book II: Ghost, joins the series alongside her real-life husband Adrian Holmes, who plays Uncle Phil.
Tyra Banks will also make a special guest appearance, playing an old friend of Vivian (April Parker Jones). Her casting brings her back into the Fresh Prince fold more than three decades after she guest-starred on the original series as Will’s love interest, Jackie.
Over the years, Bel-Air has made a point to honor its legacy, featuring several Fresh Prince stars in new roles — including Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv #2), Vernee Watson-Johnson (Vy Smith), Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey).
As Bel-Air prepares to wrap its run, fans can look forward to one final season filled with powerful performances, heartfelt nostalgia, and familiar faces returning home.
Bel-Air’s fourth and final season premieres November 24 on Peacock.
