Fact Check: Mike Tyson Did NOT Offer $10 Million To Any Man That Marries His Daughter
There is a report going around stating that former heavy weight champion Mike Tyson is offering $10 Million to any man who would marry his daughter.
Well, we are happy to report that this is NOT TRUE!
Tyson’s publicists made it clear that the report is false and that he doesn’t even have a daughter named Mitchell.
Tyson has six biological children with three different women, according to The New York Times. Of his biological children, he has three daughters: Mikey, Rayna and Milan. A fourth daughter, Exodus, died in an accident at the age of four in 2009, per ABC News.
According to a report from Fact Check, Ghanaian website Adepa News published the article of Mike offering the money on Feb. 25, but there weren’t any credible sources to confirm this claim.
Mike Tyson himself even confirmed that the story wasn’t real and went after comedian Michael Blackson for taking the bait.
According to Expressive Information, the boxing legend who was obviously furious, attacked Blackson who sent him a DM, indicating his interest to marry Mitchell and take the whooping sum that he was allegedly offering.
Blackson who only wanted to make a joke out of the report bit off more than he could chew.
The comedian had started by sharing a screenshot of the news report and wrote: “Where she at? I’ll tear her a** up then go shopping plus she’s kinda cute.”
Blackson didn’t stop there. He went as far to send Tyson a DM shooting his shot.
But Tyson didn’t find this funny at all.
Oops! Guessing Blackson learned his lesson not to mess with a heavy weight champ.
Now yall are officially in the know!
