“Cupertino,” Starring Mike Colter, Heads to CBS in 2026

CBS is heading to Silicon Valley. The network has officially green-lit Cupertino, a new legal drama starring Evil alum Mike Colter, for the 2026–27 television season.

The series reunites Colter with Evil creators Michelle and Robert King, who will write, executive produce, and co-showrun the project under their King Size Productions banner. Robert is also set to direct the premiere episode.

Described as a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley, Cupertino follows a lawyer (Colter) who is cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a powerful tech startup. Refusing to back down, he teams up with another recently fired attorney to take on the tech elite and fight for those exploited by the industry’s biggest players, according to Deadline.

The show marks another collaboration between Colter and the Kings, following his work on Evil, The Good Wife, and The Good Fight.

Cupertino is produced by CBS Studios, with Liz Glotzer also serving as executive producer.

The series is one of two new dramas slated for CBS’s 2026–27 lineup, alongside Einstein, a crime procedural starring Matthew Gray Gubler that was previously delayed from the current season.

Colter’s past credits include Plane, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, The Defenders, Girls Trip, The Union, Black and Blue, and Alarum, among others.

A premiere date for Cupertino will be announced at a later time.
