Colin Kaepernick Encourages Protest While Jay-Z Partners With The NFL
Jay-Z may think folks are ready to move on from Colin Kaepernick‘s kneeling protest — but Kap made it clear on social media that he still encourages the protest despite any dealings Jay has with the NFL.
The former 49ers quarterback posted a photo Sunday that appeared to be taking a jab at something Jay said last week during his press conference with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell — when he suggested “we’ve moved past kneeling” to “actionable items.”

Doesn’t seem Colin sees it that way, though. In his IG post, he included pics of Eric Reid, Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson — all of whom have continued to kneel in the years since Kap first started his racial injustice protest — and shared some kind words about them.
In Jay’s defense, he does have a point. It’s time to take action on this issue and all social justice issues. Since he has the funds and connections, he could make a positive impact from within the NFL but we should NEVER forget the sacrifices others have made to speak on behalf of our community.
On another note, its been reported that Jay-Z stands to become a partial owner of a NFL team with this new business venture. Let’s just hope Jay is doing this for all the right reasons.
Like ice cube took it upon himself to put basketball back in the hands of the greatest players of basketball. Jayz.could have done the same with a new football team. They didn’t believe in ice cube. But look now how powerful. His dreams are making the world take notice.
