Cast Members of ‘Family Matters’ Launch New Streaming Service

Family Matters cast creates Dreamflix TV.

Three cast members of the 90s hit show Family Matters have launched their own streaming service, DreamFlix TV.

According to PRWeb, JoMarie Payton (Harriet), Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura), and Darius McCary (Eddie) have collaborated with three forward thinking producers to bring this project to life.  The producers are entertainment industry veterans Ervin WilliamsShahRon Vaulx, and Peggy Williams.

The streaming service is aimed to be a platform for independent filmmakers’ content. 

Williams shared the exciting news on Instagram.

“During the pandemic, Family Matters saw audiences increase by 400%! That got us to thinking that maybe we needed to have our own streaming platform for shows we produce as well as shows that newer filmmakers are creating. We just announced the formation of our new streaming platform, DreamFlix TV. We have some amazing things planned. Family Matters aired their first episode back in September 1989. It ran for 9 seasons and ended in July 1998. Now a few cast members are moving on to new ventures.
