Anthony Anderson’s Home Burglarized While He Attended Charity Event

Actor Anthony Anderson‘s residence in Encino, California, was broken into on Monday night, while he was attending a charitable fundraiser in Palm Springs.

According to EW.com, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to an alarm at the property around 12:31 a.m. Three unidentified men were reportedly involved in the break-in, but no arrests have been made, and it’s unclear whether anything was stolen.

Property record confirm that the home belongs to Anderson, though authorities did not publicly identify the homeowner. The actor was in Palm Springs at the time, participating in a fundraiser for the Anthony and Alvina Anderson Charitable Support Foundation, which raises funds for students at Howard University, his alma mater.

This incident is part of a concerning trend of home invasions in affluent Los Angeles neighborhoods. Earlier this year, the Beverly Hills home of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban was burglarized on Valentine’s Day, and Los Angeles Football Club player Olivier Giroud suffered a home invasion on February 5, resulting in the theft of approximately $500,000 worth of goods.

The LAPD continues to investigate the break-in at Anderson’s home, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Residents in upscale areas are advised to take extra precautions to secure their homes amid the rising number of burglaries.
