Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson is reportedly wanted by police after an incident involving his dogs left a neighbor’s pet dead, according to sources close to the situation.
Authorities say the altercation happened earlier this week when Gibson’s dogs allegedly got loose and attacked a neighbor’s smaller dog. Despite efforts to intervene, the pet did not survive.
Law enforcement sources claim that officers have been trying to contact Gibson for questioning regarding the incident. Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer announced on Monday that the R&B star/’Fast & Furious’ staple had a warrant out for his arrest for animal cruelty.
Neighbors have reportedly expressed frustration, alleging this is not the first time Gibson’s pets have roamed the area without proper restraint. One local resident told reporters, “We’ve been concerned for a while. It was only a matter of time before something tragic happened.”
Representatives for Tyrese have not publicly commented on the matter. The Atlanta PD is still investigating the case.
This developing story has sparked online debate, with fans divided between sympathy for the grieving pet owner and concern over whether Gibson could face legal consequences related to animal control violations.
