Grammy-winning vocal group Boyz II Men has signed with Warner Records Nashville and will release a country music project in 2027, bringing its signature harmonies to a genre known for heartfelt storytelling.
Comprised of Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman, the Philadelphia trio is known for hits including “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “On Bended Knee,” “Water Runs Dry” and “One Sweet Day.”
A New Chapter in Country Music
Warner Records Nashville said the partnership will launch an all-new country project in 2027. Cris Lacy, chair and president of Warner Records Nashville, praised Boyz II Men’s cross-genre influence and said the group’s interest in working with Nashville’s award-winning singers and songwriters made the partnership a natural fit.
Shawn Stockman said the members have long appreciated country music’s storytelling and melodic approach. Nathan Morris added that while R&B remains central to the group’s identity, the emotional and melodic similarities between R&B and country make the transition feel natural.
Boyz II Men’s Country Music Connection
The group has already begun exploring country music. Earlier in 2026, Boyz II Men collaborated with country trio Lady A on “I Love The One,” featured on Songs Inspired by The Chosen: Seasons 1–5, a project inspired by the historical drama series The Chosen.
The upcoming album will be Boyz II Men’s first full project in a decade. Its previous album, Under the Streetlight, arrived in 2017 and featured reimagined versions of R&B standards from the 1950s and 1960s, with appearances by Brian McKnight, Take 6 and Amber Riley.
A Legacy That Continues to Grow
Since its 1991 breakthrough with Cooleyhighharmony, Boyz II Men has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide and earned four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards and three Billboard Music Awards. The group also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The trio continues to perform worldwide, including through its Las Vegas residency, while expanding its reach through television, live entertainment and collaborations.
With the Warner Records Nashville partnership, Boyz II Men is entering a new creative chapter ahead of the 2027 release.
