R&B singer Tonio Hall, best known for his breakout song “OMW,” has died at the age of 27 following a shooting in Norton Shores, Michigan.
Hall, whose real name was Antonio Ken-Tarrius Hall, was fatally shot on September 15, 2026, according to authorities and reports from local media. Norton Shores police said officers responded to a reported shooting shortly before 6 p.m. in the 3200 block of Ingersol Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by police, firefighters and emergency medical personnel, Hall was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later confirmed that the victim was a 27-year-old Texas resident.
According to local reporting, Hall had been shot five times. Police arrested a 26-year-old Muskegon man the night of the shooting. As of the latest reports, the suspect had not been publicly identified or charged, with the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office reviewing the investigation to determine whether charges will be authorized. The investigation remains ongoing.
News of Hall’s death has sent shockwaves through the R&B community and among fans who knew him for his music. Hall gained attention with his 2022 single “OMW,” which helped establish him as an emerging voice in contemporary R&B.
Hall was raised in Muskegon, Michigan, and developed his musical talents through the church, where he played drums and piano. He later began sharing vocal covers online before moving to Dallas and pursuing his career in R&B. He eventually signed with SEVEN14 Entertainment and released “OMW.”
