NBC is giving The Voice franchise a fresh twist, and Keke Palmer is stepping in to lead the way.
The Emmy Award-winning actress, singer, and television personality has been announced as the host of The Voice: Celebrity, a brand-new spinoff of the hit singing competition. Palmer will take over hosting duties from longtime The Voice host Carson Daly, who is stepping away from the role after 30 seasons but will remain involved with the franchise as an executive producer.
The new series, scheduled to premiere in 2027, will put a celebrity spin on the beloved competition. Rather than featuring undiscovered vocalists, The Voice: Celebrity will showcase well-known personalities from music, television, film, sports, comedy, and social media as they compete for the championship.
Palmer shared the exciting news in a video on social media, telling fans, “That’s right. It’s true. I’m hosting The Voice. I’ll see you guys there,” confirming her role in the upcoming celebrity edition.
A Star-Studded Coaching Panel
Joining Palmer for the inaugural season of The Voice: Celebrity will be an impressive lineup of coaches, including Queen Latifah, Joe Jonas, and Riley Green. Together, they’ll mentor celebrity contestants as they compete through the show’s signature Blind Auditions and knockout rounds.
The spinoff will also introduce several new elements, including a Voice Boot Camp, a VIP Room where contestants can watch the competition unfold together, and a Workroom that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at contestants preparing for performances.

Palmer is no stranger to hosting. She has earned praise for her work on Password, awards shows, and numerous live television events, building a reputation for her energy, humor, and ability to connect with audiences.
