Hurts confirmed the marriage in a recent interview with Men’s Health, stating, “You can call her my wife.” The couple met in 2016 at the University of Alabama and have maintained a largely private relationship over the years. Their engagement was publicly announced in September 2024 through a feature in Essence magazine, which showcased a romantic beachside proposal complete with roses, candles, and a violinist.
While specific details about their wedding ceremony remain undisclosed, fans began speculating about their nuptials when Hurts was seen wearing a wedding band during the 2025 Super Bowl celebrations.
