Musiq Soulchild is heading to City National Grove of Anaheim for a special live performance on Friday, May 29, 2026.
The GRAMMY-nominated singer, born Taalib Johnson, will take the stage at 8:00 PM, with doors opening at 7:00 PM. Tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Musiq Soulchild has become one of the defining voices in modern R&B and neo-soul. Inspired by legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway, Musiq helped pioneer the neo-soul movement of the early 2000s with his smooth vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and timeless sound.
From performing on the streets of Philadelphia in the late 1990s to signing with Def Jam Recordings in 2000, Musiq quickly rose to stardom. His breakthrough album, Luvanmusiq, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned three GRAMMY® nominations. The album featured hit singles including B.U.D.D.Y., Makeyouhappy, and the chart-topping favorite Teachme, which spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Urban AC chart.
He later followed up with OnMyRadio, which topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and included fan favorites like Sobeautiful and IfULeave featuring Mary J. Blige.
