A devastating hit-and-run crash in Pulaski County has claimed the lives of a young mother and her two small children, leaving a community in mourning and authorities searching for accountability.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash happened around 9:15 p.m. on May 3 along Arch Street near Dixon Road in Little Rock. Investigators say a pickup truck traveling northbound crossed the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle carrying the victims.
The victims have been identified as 25-year-old Breu’hna Hall and her two sons, Dax, 4, and Dyce, 2. Their deaths have left loved ones grieving what officials describe as a heartbreaking and preventable loss.
Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene on foot following the crash. He was later identified as 33-year-old Victor Reyes of Little Rock.
Reyes was taken into custody on May 5 and is now facing three counts of negligent homicide. He is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
Officials have not released additional details about what may have led to the crash but confirmed that the collision occurred after the suspect’s vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic.
