DaBaby is bringing a major hip-hop event to his hometown this summer, announcing the inaugural “Be More Grateful Fest,” a one-day music festival featuring a star-studded lineup led by 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes.
The festival is scheduled to take place on June 13 at the Route 29 Pavilion in Concord, just outside Charlotte, marking a significant moment for the region’s hip-hop scene.
According to the announcement, the lineup blends legendary artists and rising stars, including Waka Flocka Flame, Boosie Badazz, Webbie, BigXThaPlug, YKNiece, Big Boogie, and Mellow Rackz, among others.
DaBaby revealed the festival on social media, positioning it as more than just a concert but a full-scale cultural event celebrating hip-hop and his Carolina roots. Organizers expect thousands of fans to attend the day-long experience.
The announcement comes as fans noticed Charlotte was not included on DaBaby’s current tour schedule. Instead of a traditional tour stop, the Grammy-nominated rapper opted to create a large-scale event closer to home, reinforcing his ties to the city where his career began.
Presale tickets for the festival are set to go live in late March, with general ticket sales launching shortly after.
The “Be More Grateful Fest” follows a series of successful hometown events hosted by DaBaby, including his previous birthday bash concerts, and signals a continued push to establish Charlotte as a destination for major hip-hop festivals.
