Peacock has officially renewed “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together” for a second season, following the breakout success of its debut run starring music power couple Ashanti and Nelly.
The unscripted docuseries, which premiered in June 2025, quickly became a major hit for the streaming platform, ranking as Peacock’s second-highest-reaching freshman unscripted series.
According to reports, production on Season 2 is set to begin this month, with new episodes expected to premiere later in 2026.
The series offers an intimate look into the couple’s rekindled romance, marriage, and life as new parents. Season one followed the pair as they navigated blending their personal and professional lives after reuniting years following their initial breakup.
Season two is expected to continue that journey, diving deeper into their evolving relationship while balancing global careers, business ventures, and raising their young son.
Ashanti and Nelly, who first dated in the early 2000s before splitting in 2013, reunited in 2023 and later married, becoming one of music’s most talked-about couples. Their on-screen chemistry and real-life love story have played a major role in the show’s popularity, helping it secure a swift renewal.
With cameras set to roll again, fans can expect an even deeper look into the couple’s next chapter as their story continues to unfold on and off the screen.
