Who Is My Brother? Popular New Edition Movie Actor Is The Brother Of Another Well Known Movie Actor.

How many of y’all watched the phenomenal mini series The New Edition last week? That movie was straight FIRE! Kudos to one of our fav music directors Chris Robinson for bringing the picture to life. The cast was chosen to perfection. One of the actors in particular is one we hadn’t seen for a while since the early 2000’s. Sherwin “Wood” Harris, the dude who played Uncle Brooke, has starred in a gang of films like  Above the RimPaid In Full, Hendrix, and The Wire to inspirational films like Remember the Titans, and most recently, The New Edition Story. But surprisingly Wood is actually the real-life brother of another well-known black actor. Here’s a hint. We all wanted to beat the TAR out of Wood’s brother in his most popular movie to date. Scroll down for the answer.

I LOVE OL SCHOOL MUSIC

“Wood Harris’ brother is actor Steve Harris! For those who don’t know, Steve’s acting career began in 1985 and has evolved over the past 30 years. He’s had recurring roles on popular shows like Law & Order and The Practice and he’s even starred in memorable movies like Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Quarantine, and 12 Rounds. Steve, 51, and Wood, 47 were born in Chicago, IL to John and Mattie Harris. They have said in past interviews that their childhood was comfortable and happy.”

Did y’all guess correctly? Do you see a resemblance? We say these two should collaborate in the near future. What do y’all think?

The brothers talked about their differences in musical taste on an episode of Arsenio a couple of years ago. Wood and Steve’s preferences are a lil different to say the least.

Sooooo cute. Wouldn’t you love to go to one of their family reunions?
And now…..you guys are officially in the know!
