Yes. We know that the holidays are long gone, but this didn’t stop Koinonia Christian Center from giving back to the community. Bishop Rosie O’Neal, along with some of KCC’s supportive members, spent most of their Saturday morning filling up patrons’ gas tanks. Many people in Greenville, N.C. have felt the effects of a recent massive Winter storm through their wallets. In return, Koinonia decided to give back overwhelmingly.

Here’s more from WITN.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Hundreds of people in Greenville lined up early Saturday morning to get a free tank of gas from the Koinonia Christian Center Church.

Organizers say the church decided to do the giveaway because the recent snow and ice had taken a toll on some people’s wallets.

The church hosted the event at the Walmart gas stations on Arlington Boulevard and Memorial Drive. The event officially started at 8 a.m. but cars began lining up as early as 4 a.m., Koinonia Christian Center Church Member Amy Brothers said.

The church capped the gas giveaway at 250 cars, allowing each tank to get $20 worth of fuel.”

I know the people who benefited from this awesome display of love are forever grateful. May God continue to bless Bishop Rosie O’Neal and the entire congregation of Koinonia Christian Center. That they may continue to set an example to not only Eastern North Carolina, but the entire world.
